Hi, I'm Sarah!

Here is a bit about me!

My approach to life and the support I give others is based on these 4 pillars of connection:

Family, Wellness, Nutrition & Education

FAMILY: My number one 'job' in life is being a mum! My children's health and wellbeing has always been top priority to me and is what has inspired me to grow and learn over the years. With my blended family of 6, I live and breathe the healthy lifestyle I share with those I am working with. My children are who I have learnt the most from over my life, something I will be forever grateful for. Stepping through my family's health and wellness journey over the years has opened my eyes to so much. I have delved deep into gut health and nutritional connections to mental health. These are strong areas of passion for me which I love sharing about.

I also treasure those that I have chosen to have in my life as my extended family, through shared interests and common values. I am super passionate about seeing families connect and grow together through life!

WELLNESS: I believe that health and wellness understanding needs to start from a young age. As educators and parents we are constantly being watched by our children, we are their role models. Physical and mental wellness are critical components to living a fulfilling life and are areas I advocate strongly for. I actively seek out experiences that embrace connection, movement, time in nature and self development! I love my role as a Community Leader in our Manning Park Trail Runners community, with Clint, in partnership with Act Belong Commit. I work hard to find the balance in life that incorporates movement and I always encourage my clients to do the same, no matter what your starting point is in that area of wellness.

NUTRITION: I started my learning about nutrition when my children were babies. Their health and wellbeing was always number one, but it took me quite a few years before I finally placed that priority on myself as a busy mum! I believe that nutrition can be an area anyone can make adjustments in, no matter how busy our lives are. I love sharing the tips and strategies that make nutritional goals achievable, with clients often being surprised at how easy the simple changes can be, with many quick positive outcomes! Our health and wellbeing depend on those nutritional changes we make to care for ourselves and those around us. Nutrition is also absolutely paramount in the space of self care! From my experience, education in this area of nutrition is critical to building self awareness and learning what our bodies need to thrive.

EDUCATION: I am a dedicated Functional Nutrition Coach with a rich background in education in a range of settings as a Bachelor qualified Teacher, specialising in Early Childhood Education and Inclusive Education in my Graduate Certificate. Over my career, I have had extensive experience teaching & supporting individuals of all ages, from young children to adults. My experience is in Early Learning Centres, school classrooms, through to being a Tertiary Educator at Curtin University here in Perth, WA. As a health conscious educator, I have always integrated health and wellness into my classrooms, creating environments that promote holistic well-being. â€‹I absolutely love supporting others and watching them learn and grow with new found knowledge and skills. I see education as the key to personal growth.
